Yancey Bros. Co. seeks a Quality Control Technician to maintain quality across production, inspecting tanks and enclosures and documenting phase inspections to ensure UL 142 compliance. You will scan and file compliance docs and participate in safety programs.

Ideal candidates have QC inspection experience and strong attention to detail, with good communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. High school diploma required; electrical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Capable of reading tape measurements and interpreting YES shop drawings.
• Computer skills including Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to comprehend, speak and write English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone.

Responsabilités

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Quality Control Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the products produced by the Yancey Engineering Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases of production to verify compliance of build
• Document phase inspections for each build
• Inspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication for UL 142 compliance
• Scan and maintain filing of compliance documentation to job folders

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
