Quality Control Technician – Medical Device Manufacturing

Plano, Texas| Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Full-Time | Clean Room Environment | Overtime Available on Fridays

We’re looking for a Quality Control Technician with hands-on experience in calipers, micrometers, and quality assurance testing to help ensure our products meet the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products for Disposables and Electronics.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using advanced tools.
  • Document non-conformances and assist in investigations of customer complaints and internal issues.
  • Review Device History Records (DHRs), sterilization records, and inspection data for compliance.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering on First Article Inspections and qualification testing.
  • Rotate across QA areas including IQC, Finals, and Electronics as needed.

️What You Bring

  • 2+ years of quality control experience (medical device industry preferred).
  • Proficiency with inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, vision systems, and OGP Smart Scope.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Excel and Access.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with in-process inspections and non-conformance reports (NCMRs).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards).
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical testing methods.
  • Willingness to work occasional Friday overtime.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.00/hr.
