Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, L.L.C. in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join the Quality Control team in our corporate office. You will perform accessioning checks and analyze/verify clinical laboratory results to support accurate reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, LIS familiarity, and the ability to communicate with lab personnel. You may work with real-time PCR, conventional PCR, ELISA, and related assays, while maintaining patient privacy and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Microbiology or related science.
• Basic computer literacy; LIS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; quality control experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs accessioning checks for all requisitions; assesses accuracy of specimen information in LIS; identifies accessioning discrepancies.
• Maintains accurate record of discrepancies and provides discrepancy reports for corrective action.
• Analyzes, enters and verifies clinical laboratory results (Real-time PCR, conventional PCR, Western blots, ELISA, IFA) and related testing.
• Identifies samples needing repeat or additional testing to ensure accurate results.
• Communicates with lab personnel about testing issues or pending results.
• Assures patient privacy is maintained at all times.
• Performs other similar or related duties as required.
