Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies- Manufacturing in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Quality Control Technician to uphold the quality and consistency of manufactured building envelope products. You will work closely with production teams to ensure standards and safety compliance.

Prior hands-on experience in fabrication/manufacturing is preferred. The role offers training for the right candidates and includes competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in quality control in a manufacturing setting or diploma in related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings.
• Ability to read precise measurements on a tape measure (1/16 inch or 1 mm).
• Proficient with calipers and/or micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail for quality materials.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce quality production standards and best practices.
• Inspect output samples using appropriate tools and methods (e.g., dimension checks).
• Review blueprints and specifications to ensure product accuracy.
• Train and guide team members; suggest process improvements.
• Monitor proper use of tools and machinery; maintain safety culture.
• Collaborate with team to resolve quality concerns; complete required reports and documentation.
• Assist in other tasks and/or departments as needed.
