Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies- Manufacturing in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Quality Control Technician to uphold quality and consistency of our building envelope products, including glazing systems, metal panels, and trims. You will collaborate with production teams to ensure standards and safety compliance, with hands-on experience in fabrication/manufacturing preferred.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, perform measurements, and participate in process improvements while maintaining

Qualifications

• 1+ year’s quality control experience in manufacturing or a relevant technical diploma.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings
• Ability to read precise measurements on a tape measure: 1/16 inch or 1 mm
• Strong attention to detail for quality of materials produced

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce quality production standards and best practices
• Inspect output samples using appropriate tools and methods (dimension checks)
• Review blueprints and specifications to ensure product accuracy
• Train and guide team members and recommend process improvements
• Monitor proper use of tools and machinery with safety culture
• Collaborate with team to resolve issues and address quality concerns
• Complete reports and documentation using Excel and other software
• Assist in other tasks and/or other departments as needed
