Job summary

Abbott in South Portland, ME seeks a Quality Control Technician for a 6-month assignment on site. The role runs 2pm to 10:30pm, with full onsite requirements. You will perform testing across Lateral Flow, ELISA and Molecular products and contribute to batch review and equipment maintenance.

Candidates should have an associate degree in a technical field or higher, plus 1+ years in lab or QA. Prior GMP/GLP experience is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and data handling skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in biology, chemistry, life sciences or related field.
• 1+ year of laboratory or quality control experience.
• Ability to follow GMP/GLP, safety rules and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Test in-process components for Lateral Flow, ELISA and Molecular products.
• Perform final release testing for Lateral Flow, ELISA and Molecular products.
• Troubleshoot technical and quality issues and review batch records.
• Calibrate/maintain laboratory equipment and observe GMP/GLP.
