This full-time, non-exempt position is based in New Carlisle, IN and reports to the Quality Control Manager. This individual is responsible for testing bare and painted coils for conformance to established quality parameters. This role requires independent judgment and real-time decision-making to maintain product quality during production. The Quality Control Technician is expected to understand specification requirements and take appropriate action to ensure all materials remain within acceptable standards. This is a position with working hours of 04:00 am/pm - 04:00 am/pm, and is on a 2-2-3 schedule. As a member of EDCOAT, LLC’s production team, the Quality Control Technician will be accountable for complying with all applicable company standards and government regulations. Success will be defined by the employee’s ability to ensure the quality and consistency of paint and metal used in the coil coating process.
