Job summary

The Heritage Group’s US Aggregates division seeks a Quality Control Technician for Delphi, IN. This role will inspect, sample, and conduct routine and special laboratory testing on construction aggregate materials to ensure quality at production and shipping points.

You will verify results, maintain accurate records, and assist with troubleshooting and corrective actions on field and jobsite locations, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• INDOT certification preferred; INDOT/CAPP experience preferred; MSHA training preferred.
• Experience with aggregate lab testing preferred; basic math skills required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Available to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather quality samples from large aggregate stockpiles.
• Perform INDOT-required and aggregate quality testing with proper paperwork.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organize paperwork and records.

Technician will perform tests to ensure the quality and consistency at the point of production and shipping. The individual will be expected to perform troubleshooting and recommend corrective action for issues arising on field and jobsite locations.
