Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Quality Control Team Lead to supervise inspections of implant and instrument assemblies, ensuring conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with QC personnel and production teams to maintain high-quality outcomes.

The role requires reading engineering drawings (GD&T), experience with automated inspection systems, and strong organizational and leadership skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years QC inspection experience; 5+ preferred.
7+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings for medical devices (GD&T).
Experience with automated inspection systems.
Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, ISO standards.
Ability to use standard measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs inspections of implant and instrument assemblies for conformance to specifications.
Leads QC Inspectors to meet production requirements.
Verifies calibration and use of inspection equipment.
Notifies operators of non-conformances.
Escalates quality issues to QC Supervisor.
Supports training of QC personnel.
Works with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Maintains alignment with production schedule while ensuring quality.
