We offer a broad range of employment opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the health of people in the region.# **Position Summary**Check the quality of cleanliness of day to day operations with turn over rooms, terminal clean rooms and discharge rooms to ensure standards are met and reports accordingly. As well as cleaning procedures. Conduct patient satisfaction and cleanliness surveys at the hospital via the Worxhub Surveys. This job involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a records of UV lights analyzations, ATP testing results and multiple surveys. Along with creating and maintaining a variety of checklists for documentation of pass/fail of inspections. ATP testing and management of documentation at the hospital and LTC. # Position Responsibilities## A. Essential Functions* Maintains established department policies and procedures, safety, environmental and hospital infection control standards.* Inspection and ATP testing at Adults, Peds, O.B. ER, ER Fast Track and LTC to verify that they meet quality standards.* Inspection of Ice machines. Daily wipe exterior surfaces, check for leaks and make work order for repair. Weekly inspect air filters and inspect condenser coils for dust and debris and make work order for maintenance to clean. Monthly clean of trays.* Check empty Patient Rooms Daily and make sure shower heads are hanging down and drained.* Maintain documented detailed records of inspection and testing results. To include but not limited to Daily, weekly and monthly checklists of inspections and testing.* Input Data to Surepoint from ATP and Ice machine tests and inspections.* Generate reports on inspection and testing finding, including pass/fail determination, and provide feedback. Reports such as: monthly linen pounds washed, ATP testing, UVDI training and usage reports and other reports as needed.Maintain route checklists for all areas where EVS services are provided. Create and Maintain a verification system for the Lead EVS workers to maintain work flow.* Close out works hub inspections and surveys on the Ice machines and ATP testing and both Patient Satisfaction Surveys and 7 Step Cleaning Surveys.* Facility cleanliness inspections for the hospital, LTC and the Kangiq buildings* Train and educate EVS staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices to maintain a culture of quality throughout the organization.* Create work orders for maintenance issues.## B. Nonessential Functions* Attends meeting as required.* Participates in educational programs and in-service training as required* Other duties as assigned. # **Position Qualifications****Minimum Education** Completion of 12th grade or GED required.**Minimum Experience** Minimum of 2-3 years of Environmental Services experience required,preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience with infection control compliance and documentation standards preferred.**License, Certification, Registration** none**Equipment/Tools** Hygiena Monitoring system tester/UV lighting disinfectant## **Specialized Knowledge and Skills**Knowledge of hospital infection prevention and control standards.
