Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Specialist to ensure supplier materials meet stringent standards and support PPAP activities.

You will document results with precision, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve supplier challenges. The role requires an associate degree or vocational training, 3+ years QC experience, and the ability to obtain a Q clearance.

Responsibilities

You’ll also assist with audits, train team members, recommend process enhancements, and travel to supplier sites to conduct in‑depth evaluations that strengthen overall supplier performance.

A Successful Candidate Also Brings

Candidates stand out even more if they bring a bachelor’s degree in engineering, ASQ certification (such as CQT), experience with formal quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100), and hands‑on exposure to PPAP, FAI, and supplier quality processes. Pay Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $64,248-$107,080. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.
