Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, technical cert is a plus.
• Experience using calipers, gauges, and inspection equipment in manufacturing.
• Ability to read work instructions, docs, and engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word processing.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to support production: first-pieces, in-process, finished goods, and audits.
• Provide front-line support to determine acceptance/rejection criteria.
• Investigate quality issues and quarantine/sort suspect materials.
• Record inspection data and outcomes with traceability.
• Reject nonconforming items and assist with CAPAs and ECNs.
• Discuss results with product owners and recommend corrective actions.
• Notify supervisors of problems and help identify solutions.
• Perform calibrations and participate in ISO audits as directed.
• Maintain records of corrective actions and calibration data.
