Job summary

The Judge Group in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies, verifying conformance to drawings and specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools, document results, and support root cause investigations while collaborating with engineering and production to sustain high product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with dimensional and visual inspection processes.
• ASQ CQI certification preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections, support quality assurance initiatives, and help ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. What You’ll Do

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components and assemblies
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
• Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and related tools
• Complete inspection reports, nonconformance documentation, and quality records
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities
• Assist with inspection planning, sampling methods, and acceptance criteria reviews
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to maintain high product standards
• Ensure adherence to quality systems, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience within aerospace, aviation, pharma, medical device, food or beverage manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Experience with dimensional and visual inspection processes

Technical Skills

• Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) is a plus
• Knowledge of inspection methods, sampling plans, and acceptance standards
• Ability to maintain accurate quality documentation and records
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and quality management systems
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification preferred
