Job Description

ECS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist IV to work in our North Charleston, SC office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Quality Control Specialist IV ensures software and services meet predefined quality standards before being released into production. They work in software development, performing inspections, tests, and data analysis to identify deviations from established standards. Their role involves implementing quality control procedures, collaborating with other departments to address quality issues, and proposing improvements to streamline processes.

Required Skills

• Ten (10)+ years professional experience solving technical problems.
• Trained in engineering and/or software design/maintenance skills and techniques.
• Practical understanding of engineering concepts.
• Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
• Experience with testing equipment, systems, networks, communications infrastructure/configuration, or applications to ensure effective and safe operation.
• Ability to interpret plans and drawings, contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
• Experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), preparing shop drawings, and familiarity with material specifications and fabrication methods.
• Five (5)+ years designing architecture, infrastructure, or custom applications supporting cyber security, information assurance, IT, or medical data requirements.
• At least three (3)+ years supporting defense health requirements.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Desired Skills

• High School diploma or GED.
• Military experience or trade/industrial school graduate is a plus.
• Current Passport.
