Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Quality Control Specialist I to join our production teams. You will inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods, applying complex measurements to ensure product conformance with specifications.

You’ll read technical drawings, perform simple tests, and document results for reliability and traceability. Under supervision, you will train other inspectors and conduct internal audits while using precision equipment such as Zeiss, Mitutoyo CMMs, micrometers, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 1-3 years of product inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to ensure conformance to specs.
Conduct routine analyses and tests on components; document results.
Read complex drawings and apply tight tolerances using GD&T.
Operate precision measuring equipment (CMMs, micrometers, calipers) and report findings.
Record data in SPC software and analyze trends for quality improvements.
Identify and communicate defects; return non-conforming parts for rework.
Assist and train other inspectors on procedures and tools.
Perform internal audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Work across all shifts as needed to support production.
