Job summary

Make Quality Count is seeking a QC Specialist I to join a regulated quality control team. The role targets recent graduates or early-career professionals with a passion for quality and compliance, in a healthcare/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, managing samples, generating CoAs, and ensuring accurate quality data in SAP. Collaboration across departments is essential for timely material flow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of lab, manufacturing or quality control experience.
  • Working knowledge of GLP and GMP.
  • Excellent documentation and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming raw material inspections and review CoA/CoC.
  • Manage QC sample pulls and retention samples with documentation.
  • Create and distribute Certificates of Analysis to support regs.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, and QC to resolve issues.
  • Record inspection results in SAP and other systems accurately.

What You'll Do

As a QC Specialist I, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and processes meet the highest quality standards by:



  • Performing incoming raw material inspections and reviewing Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and Certificates of Conformance (CoC)

  • Managing QC sample pulls and retention samples while maintaining accurate documentation and storage records

  • Creating, maintaining, and distributing Certificates of Analysis to support operational and regulatory requirements

  • Partnering closely with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Receiving, MSAT, Planning, and QC teams to resolve issues and keep materials moving efficiently

  • Recording inspection results and quality data in SAP and other systems with a high level of accuracy and compliance


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline

  • 0-2 years of laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control experience

  • Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
