Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a QA Inspector in California to inspect products at various production stages and ensure conformance to quality standards.

You will identify defects, document deviations, and maintain thorough inspection records to support overall product quality and customer satisfaction. Required are a high school diploma and 1–3 years of quality inspection experience, blueprint reading, and basic MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Blueprint reading is required.
  • Microsoft Office basic proficiency is acceptable.

  • Use measurement tools like calipers, micrometer, and drop indicators to verify specs.

Position Summary

As a QA Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. You will identify defect, deviations, and non-conformances. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success and reputation of the company.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products at different stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformances in accordance with established procedure.
  • Use of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometer, measure scope, and drop indicators to verify product specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspection performed using microscopes.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, including reports, logs and documentation.
  • Keep area clean and organized according to internal procedures.
  • Must work well with others – comfortable working and contributing in a team environment
  • Ability to learn and follow internal system and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience performing Quality Inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Blueprint reading required
  • Microsoft Office – Beginner level acceptable
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role
  • Keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred:

  • ASQ Certification
  • ISO/ AS9100 experience

Equal Pay Act Range

Hourly range is from $20.77 to $30.77, plus a benefit plan.
