Safety & Quality Control Specialist - Fort Stewart - Hinesville, Georgia

Summary: This exempt position reports directly to the Project Quality Manager. Responsibilities include monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring project work meets contract standards, maintaining a Quality Inspection System in accordance with FAR Clause 52.246-4, contributing to the implementation of the QCP, and reviewing subcontractor Quality Control Plans. The role also involves advising on quality, certification, and acceptance criteria, following up on Corrective Action Reports, and ensuring their closure.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years as a Quality Control Specialist on an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract exceeding $5MM annually.
• STEM associate's degree desired.
• Military/civil service experience is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMBOK, TQM.
• Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) desirable.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
• Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
