Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Associate to update and coordinate the planning, implementation, and supervision of the HITT quality control plan on data center projects. This role collaborates with the project team and client representatives to ensure QC standards are met.

The ideal candidate has a civil/MEP background, relevant certifications, and strong documentation control skills. You will lead site-specific QC programs, oversee inspections, and drive timely corrective

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in a related engineering field or equivalent work experience.
• Active or refreshable Army Corps of Engineers CQM certification.
• OSHA-10 certification required.
• Experience in data center construction is preferred.
• Ability to develop site-specific QC programs and four control phases.
• Adept communication with project teams and clients.
• Knowledge of CSA/MEP disciplines and building codes.
• Proficient document control and reporting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning with QC team, PM, and superintendent.
• Develop features of work tied to project schedule.
• Create site-specific QC programs for projects and submit for review.
• Develop meeting and inspection templates for each FOW.
• Execute four QC phases with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Inspect incoming materials for submittal compliance.
• Oversee QC inspections by superintendents; perform when needed.
• Track deficiencies and rework to final resolution.
• Document all QC records including third-party inspections.
• Provide weekly status reports and upcoming look-ahead for QC activities.
• Attend progress meetings and report QC status.
• Integrate safe work practices across the QC program.
• Develop final punch list and assist in closeout.
• Interface with client representatives for feedback on QC program.
• Coordinate QC support for startup/commissioning with MEP team.
• Align deliverables with project manager and superintendent.
