Job Description

General Overview:

This position will train on 1st shift for 8 weeks before moving to 2nd shift, Monday Through Thursday 2:30pm-1am. Typical work week is 4 days, 10 hours per day with overtime possible.

Activities include ensuring proper safety procedures are followed, establish and measure quality criteria, provide cause and corrective actions for quality related issues, and provide feedback to the Production Manager on other issues and problems for resolution. Requires close communication with customers and Sales Engineers.

Duties:

• Ensure all safety procedures for the department are followed and all training is up to date.
• Ensures adherence of all ISO and related processes, SWP's, procedures and requirements.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure production meets drawing and other specified quality requirements. Eliminates non-conformances from being shipped.
• Ensure that all employees have the proper tooling, gauges and other devices to maintain quality. Provides gauge calibration service to all departments.
• Professional interface and communications with customers.
• Ensure that all CAR’s, scrap, rework is properly reported.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly protected; calibrations and preventative maintenance being followed.
• Other general duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
