Our Federal Team at Garver is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to help ensure our design solutions exceed requirements and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate multi‑discipline Quality Control Reviews.
• Participate in the review of civil‑related portions of project plans, specifications, and design reports.
• Assist with review of civil‑related construction submittals.
• Join design progress meetings for select projects.
• Ensure appropriate quality control procedures are followed.
• Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with project contract requirements.
• Travel occasionally for industry‑related conference attendance or project‑specific meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• 20+ years of site/civil project experience.
• Detail‑oriented and a team player with strong self‑initiative to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Some travel may be required with occasional overnight stays.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with USACE and other DoD‑type projects.
• Construction observation and/or submittal reviews for site/civil‑related projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer.
