Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of applicable product inspection experience.
• Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Experience operating inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, microscopes, and other precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Conduct visual and measurement inspections using complex equipment such as Zeiss or Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines, Smartscope, or RAM.
• Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and surface gauges to accept or reject parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, incorporating tight tolerances into inspection processes.
• Analyze statistical data using SPC software like Infinity to maintain product quality and reliability.
