Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections of PCBs to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Inspect soldering, components, traces, and connections for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Conduct in-process, final, and incoming inspections using microscopes, magnifiers, and measurement tools.
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and alignment against drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and report non-conformances.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards (such as IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, or related).
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support audits and assist in maintaining ISO or industry quality system requirements.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in PCB inspection, manufacturing, or assembly is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and quality inspection methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects quickly.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, schematics, and PCB layouts.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and multimeters.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
