Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Quality Control/General Helper for a new gold mining encampment near Yellow Pine, ID. You will perform QA/QC tasks, monitor safety and compliance, and assist with kitchen and housekeeping duties as needed.

Shifts include day 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. MST and night 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. MST, with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation. Pay is $18/hour with room, board, meals, and transportation provided, plus OSHA/ID compliance guidance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of QA/QC, security or site supervision experience.
• Ability to deescalate tense situations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of building components and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous general help and QA/QC support for the camp.
• Maintain 24 hour fire watch coverage with patrols every two hours.
• Monitor heaters, generators, cords, outlets, fuel systems and hotspots.
• Keep detailed fire watch logs and respond to hazards.
• Ensure emergency exits and safety equipment are clear and functional.
• Observe vehicles for leaks, spills, or environmental concerns.
• Enforce camp rules, including alcohol restrictions.
• Monitor badge scanning during meal services.
• Document activities via daily/weekly reports and incident reports.
• Adhere to OSHA and Idaho state/federal standards.
• Communicate with camp management for updates and escalation.
• Support integration with operational partners and protocols.
• Monitor entry/exit points for controlled access.
• Perform general cleaning and facility upkeep to maintain safety.
