Quality Control (QC) - Electrical Engineer

Location: REMOTE

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer interested in extending your career by ensuring the quality of water and wastewater design with a leading firm in the industry?

Would you like to pass on your knowledge to the next generation on your schedule and from your location?

We have an opportunity on our Water Business Line (WBL) QC Team.

The successful candidate will provide quality checks for:

1. Designs for water and wastewater treatment plant power distribution systems, including one-lines, power plans, and lighting plans.
2. Control schematics, control systems development, instrumentation systems, SCADA systems, and power monitoring systems.
3. Design calculations, specifications, and construction cost estimating.

Qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
2. 20+ years of industry experience in electrical power distribution and control system design within industrial processes.
3. Registered Professional Engineer.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
5. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit CAD programs.
6. Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant systems.
7. Knowledge of SCADA network communications.
8. Experience overseeing electrical designs, including detailed plans and specifications for major projects.
9. Technical competence in electrical engineering design, including power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.
10. Understanding of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 820 standards.
