Clark Construction Group is seeking a Quality Control Project Engineer to join our project team. You will coordinate with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and staff to ensure technical excellence and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

You will plan, schedule, predict, and manage technical tasks, while leading delivery and coordination of drawings, submittals, and change orders. This role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and timely project outcomes.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years in an engineer, project engineer, or similar roles in construction.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Quality Control Managers on purchasing, scoping, and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals; ensure compliance with plans/specs.
• Support development and updates of project schedules and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead development of project plans and monitor material deliveries against schedule.
• Review change proposals and negotiate with trade partners.
• Coordinate drawings with QC Manager and Superintendent; draft change orders.
• Lead project closeout, prepare turnover documentation, and final payments.
• Develop and lead training sessions for team and trade partners.
• Build industry relationships to bring opportunities and talent to Clark.

You will lead daily coordination between our clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and our employees. The Quality Control Project Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, predicting, and managing all the technical tasks to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality for the lifecycle of the project.

You will lead daily coordination between our clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and our employees. The Quality Control Project Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, predicting, and managing all the technical tasks to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality for the lifecycle of the project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Quality Control Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs
• Prepare and forward submittals; confirm submittal complies with plans/specs
• Support the development and updating of the project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules
• Play a lead role in the development of project plans
• Monitor and expedite material deliveries ensuring all deliveries conform with the project schedule
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate
• Facilitate with the Quality Control Manager and Superintendent in the coordination of drawings
• Draft change orders. Solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers. Perform scope take-off and estimate costs
• Lead close out of project; includes assembling manuals and other warranties for turnover to owner and preparation final payment documents for subcontractors
• Develop and lead training sessions for your team and trade partners
• Take ownership of document management applications
• Cultivate a network of industry relationships to bring potential business opportunities to Clark leadership
• Cultivate industry relationships to help attract and recruit top talent to Clark. A mindset of "All team members are recruiters"

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience
• 2+ years experience in an engineer, project engineer, or a similar role in the construction industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and general project administration
• Demonstrated ability reading drawings and specifications
• Computer proficient including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Interest and passion for building and the industry

• OSHA 10 certification
• Procore experience
