The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm currently seeking a Quality Control Microbiology Technician for a prominent Pharmaceutical client in Frederick, MD. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $28.00-$29.00/hr depending on shift.
• Length of Assignment: 1 year with potential for extension or conversion.
• Shifts: Multiple shifts available, including:

• SUN-WEDS: 7:00am-6:00pm
• WED-SAT: 7:00am-6:00pm
• SUN-WEDS: 3:00pm-2:00am
• WEDS-SAT: 3:00pm-2:00am

The role involves providing microbiological testing for clinical and commercial products, including product testing, microbial growth promotion testing, utility testing, and environmental monitoring. Responsibilities include environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, collecting water samples, and performing and reviewing microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden, and Plate Reading. Candidates should have experience in microbiological techniques such as environmental air monitoring, water testing, surface monitoring, aseptic techniques, and cleanroom operations.
