Job summary

Biogen RTP Pharma facility is seeking a Quality Control Associate II to support QC Microbiology operations. You will perform environmental monitoring, water testing, and microbial analyses in a cGMP environment.

This entry-level role requires a bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry or related science and the ability to multi-task and work in a team. The position offers a base salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry or other lab-based science required.
Experience with QC GMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collect routine environmental monitoring (EM) samples in a clean room environment, including weekly air, particulate and surface samples.
Water monitoring of the WFI and USP systems and performing daily analytical and microbial testing
Perform release and stability microbial testing, including membrane filtration bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion testing and related activities; perform analytical data review
Support qualification and validation activities
Author action excursions, CAPAs, deviations and Quality Technical Reports
