Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Quality Control Associate II in Milwaukee, WI to support the QC Microbiology group at our facility. The role requires adherence to cGMP and familiarity with FDA/EMA regulations, with daily testing and data review tasks across EM, water systems, and microbial assays.

You will work on environmental monitoring, endotoxin/bioburden tests, and participate in investigations, CAPAs, and tech reports while collaborating with Quality Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry or related lab science.
• 0–2 years of industry experience.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate parallel activities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect routine EM samples in a clean room; weekly air, particulate and surface sampling.
• Water monitoring of WFI and USP systems; perform daily microbial testing.
• Perform release and stability microbial testing and data review.
• Support qualification and validation activities.
• Author excursions, CAPAs, deviations and quality tech reports.
