Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Biology or Microbiology required.
• 1+ years applicable laboratory experience required.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation in a regulated lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process product, finished product, and stability samples per established procedures.
• Collect environmental samples and perform analysis per site procedures.
• Compile, review, and trend microbiology testing data.
• Assist with project protocols, change notifications, deviation waivers, and quality notifications (with supervision as needed).
• Execute test method validations and support equipment validations/verifications.
• Maintain the microbiology lab area; clean and maintain equipment and workspaces per procedures.
• Order lab supplies, reagents, and materials as needed.
• Support equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
• Support investigations and corrective actions; maintain logbooks/records per GDP.
• Follow lab safety practices, including hazardous waste management, and support audit readiness.

Details and Compensation

Location: El Paso, TX 79912 – 100% on-site

Payrate: $26.00/hr

Required Availability: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

1st shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (subject to change)

Must attend new-hire orientation

Summary and Highlights

The QC Microbiology Analyst supports a Quality Control laboratory by performing microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and stability samples to meet testing deliverables. This role maintains accurate documentation and trending data, supports method/equipment validations, and helps ensure the lab remains audit-ready through strong safety and good documentation practices.

Requirements
