Base pay range

$54,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Science & Clinical Recruiter

Kelly Scientific is currently seeking candidates for a Direct Hire QC Microbiologist position at a Biopharma company northwest of Houston Texas. The Microbiologist is responsible for QC microbiological aspects of compliance and testing associated with daily manufacturing activities in a cGMP production environment.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

• Collect environmental monitoring samples in a cleanroom environment
• Sample process gas and compressed gas system
• Collect Utility Monitoring samples
• Perform incubation and enumeration of environmental samples
• Perform pH, Conductivity, TOC, Water Bioburden, Endotoxin testing for water samples
• Participate in cleaning and maintenance of QC Laboratory
• Manage inventory and autoclave materials as required

Job Requirements:

• AS/BS degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 1 year of relevant experience
• Sound aseptic technique and understanding of industry best practices, techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to analyze raw data, assess assay and system suitability criteria.
• Good attention to detail and ability to utilize problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization and analytical skills.
