Andritz AG is seeking a Quality Control Manager in Griffin, GA. This role is responsible for ensuring that all quality control standards are met for roll covers produced at the Griffin facility. The ideal candidate will have an Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field, 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, and proficiency in ISO quality systems and Lean Manufacturing practices. Qualifications
3-5 years of equivalent manufacturing experience in a production environment, preferably in a paper mill.
Requires infrequent lifting of moderately heavy objects and occasional lifting of objects 50 pounds and over.
Requires hand dexterity for repetitive movements.
Responsibilities
Ensures all roll covers meet Quality Control standards.
Provides documentation of Quality Control procedures using ISO and other guidelines.
Reviews internal documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Inspects all rolls prior to shipment to ensure compliance with guidelines.
Develops and maintains certification programs for internal training.
Skills
Solid knowledge of formal quality systems (ISO, QIT, TQM)
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
Ability to use automated building and equipment controls
Education
Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field
