Job summary

Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager (QCM) for field-based work on U.S. government construction sites.

You will oversee day-to-day quality, safety, and compliance across projects, coordinating with Government officials, subcontractors, and the Project Manager to meet contract requirements and schedule. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in related leadership positions, with at least 2 years as a QC Manager, EM 385-1-1 familiarity, OSHA-30 certification, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years combined experience in Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager roles on similar size and type contracts.
• At least 2 years of experience as a QC Manager.
• 30-Hour OSHA certified and OSHA 30 card.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and safety requirements.
• First Aid/ CPR trained.
• Certified USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors.
• Competent person training in Fall protection, confined space and excavation (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections to ensure work meets plans, specs and contract requirements.
• Maintain and track QC deficiency logs and corrective actions.
• Review, package, and submit construction submittals.
• Conduct pre-final inspections, develop punch lists and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Coordinate and conduct final inspections with Government officials and engineers.
• Maintain photo documentation of progress and installed conditions.
• Manage project closeout activities with the Project Manager.
