Job summary

The State Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager for a 15-18 month project in Bowling Green, Ohio. The role will focus on maintaining the QMS in line with ISO 9001, coordinating internal and external audits, and driving continuous quality improvements across the project team.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in construction quality management, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and strong documentation and auditing capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction quality management and ISO 9001 systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; quality certification or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Auditing experience, internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety requirements and promote a positive safety culture.
• Maintain and oversee the QMS, ensuring ISO 9001 alignment.
• Collaborate to develop and execute the QMS strategy.
• Manage ISO 9001 certification processes, including audits.
• Develop, implement, and improve quality procedures and documentation.
• Track and report project progress to customers for scheduling and forecasting.
• Lead internal and external audits and follow up on nonconformities.
• Train employees on QMS standards and best practices.
