Job summary

Sheakley is seeking a Quality Control Manager for an Army Reserve Center project in Albany, GA. The role oversees QC activities, ensures compliance with project specs, codes, and federal QA requirements, and coordinates inspections across multiple trades.

The ideal candidate holds CQCM certification or an engineering/Construction Management degree with 5+ years of construction QC leadership, and is prepared for a 1099 contract of 12 months at $54–$58 per hour, with 40–50 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Current CQCM Certification.
• 10 years of demonstrable Quality Control Management experience on similar construction projects.
• Or Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Graduate Architect with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Graduate of Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the project's quality control program.
• Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
• Maintain quality control documentation, reports, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to resolve deficiencies.
• Monitor workmanship and construction activities across multiple trades.
• Track corrective actions through completion and verification.
• Participate in project meetings and quality-related discussions.
• Support successful project turnover and closeout activities.
