Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Quality Control Manager in Albany, GA to lead the quality program for an Army Reserve Center construction project. You will coordinate inspections, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with specifications and codes across multiple trades.

The role requires CQCM certification or equivalent, and extensive QC leadership experience on large construction sites. This is a 12-month, 1099 contract with 40–50 hour weeks and a competitive rate.

Qualifications

• Current CQCM Certification.
• 10 years of demonstrable Quality Control Management experience on similar construction projects.
• Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• Graduate Architect with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• Graduate of Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• Experience overseeing quality control across multiple construction disciplines and trades

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the project's quality control program
• Conduct and coordinate preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements
• Maintain quality control documentation, reports, and inspection records
• Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to resolve deficiencies
• Monitor workmanship and construction activities across multiple trades
• Track corrective actions through completion and verification
• Participate in project meetings and quality-related discussions
• Support successful project turnover and closeout activities
