Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Contrack Watts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager in Gig Harbor, Washington, responsible for leading Federal projects and managing the project Quality Control Program.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the commissioning process, including startup plans, schedules, and functional testing.
  2. Oversee inspections during commissioning to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  3. Lead project closeout activities, including manuals, model turnover, and training.
  4. Serve as the main contact for the owner and on-site representatives.
  5. Resolve commissioning issues and customer concerns.
  6. Participate in factory witness testing as applicable.
  7. Implement and manage the QC Program, ensuring proper testing and documentation.
  8. Coordinate with testing personnel and manage inspections and documentation.
  9. Organize meetings with owners and subcontractors, and conduct weekly QC meetings.
  10. Monitor work activities and report progress to project teams.
  11. Coordinate pre-installation conferences and follow-up inspections.
  12. Document inspections and meetings, review submittals, and ensure approval processes are efficient.
  13. Communicate quality information and concerns with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 6 years in construction QC/QA, with federal project experience.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and training skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and knowledge of construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with Procore and Bluebeam preferred.
