Job summary

Wesco seeks a Manager - Quality Control to lead inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products, ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will implement corrective actions and improve QC methods, aligning with current business plans.

You will direct the quality department, manage corrective actions, and drive improvements in the quality management system to meet customer expectations and grow the business model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years required, 5 years preferred of related work experience.
• 1 year required, 3 years preferred of supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of mathematics, data analysis and statistical methods.
• Ability to organize and coordinate schedules.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Ability to calibrate precise measurements.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Ability to communicate with the public.
• Ability to manage other employees.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the Quality Management System.
• Direct the activities of the quality department.
• Manage a corrective action process to address quality issues.
• Lead communication with customers to resolve questions and define corrective actions.
• Develop plans for the Quality Management System to expand and support business growth.
• Report the performance of the operation using statistical processes.
• Devise ways to continually improve the quality control process to ensure higher-quality goods.
• Keep accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
• Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
