Coakley & Williams Construction seeks a Quality Control Engineer Intern in Bethesda, MD to participate in construction QC activities across site and corporate levels. You will support QMS implementation, document control, meetings, and QC inspections while engaging with project teams and stakeholders.
The role requires pursuing a degree in CM/CE/ME/Architecture and strong communication, organization, and detail orientation.
The Quality Control Engineer Intern will have the opportunity to observe and participate in all aspects of construction quality control that are encountered in the construction workplace.
In accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law, the hourly range for this position is: $21.00 - $25.00
Individuals should be able to reach above and below, stoop, stand, bend and, sit, walk, climb ladders and stairs. Individuals should also be able to lift, carry and/or move items up to 25lbs. May be exposed to heavy machinery/equipment, hazardous chemicals and extreme weather conditions. Minimum of 40 hours per week required. Work hours will vary depending on project requirements and may involve weekends and night work.
