Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical submittals for compliance. Verify materials, installation methods, and workmanship meet contract requirements. Ensure proper review and approval of contractor submittals prior to construction. Identify technical issues and coordinate resolution with project leadership.
Oversee inspection and testing activities for civil works construction including earthwork, concrete, structural systems, and utilities. Monitor contractor quality control operations and verify compliance with the approved CQC plan. Review laboratory testing reports, inspection documentation, and construction quality records. Track deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Serve as the primary point of contact for quality control matters on assigned projects. Participate in project meetings, technical discussions, and construction coordination meetings. Support project documentation, reporting, and compliance monitoring. Coordinate with USACE Resident Offices and project stakeholders.
