Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for a full-time, direct hire opportunity supporting major federal and military construction projects in Oklahoma City, OK, at Tinker Air Force Base. This role is ideal for a seasoned QCM with strong USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, or federal construction experience who wants to contribute to high-impact vertical construction projects in a stable, long-term career setting.

The Quality Control Manager will play a critical role in maintaining construction quality, supporting compliance, and ensuring successful project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all construction quality control activities for large-scale federal and military vertical construction projects.
• Implement and manage project-specific Quality Control Plans, inspection procedures, testing requirements, and quality documentation.
• Execute and document the USACE Three Phases of Control, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.
• Review and track submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, inspections, testing reports, as-built drawings, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, government representatives, and safety teams.
• Support final inspections, punch lists, closeout documentation, turnover packages, and compliance with applicable contract requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $130,000 to $170,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage quality control operations for federal and military vertical construction projects.
• Lead implementation of Quality Control Plans, inspection processes, and testing documentation.
• Execute USACE Three Phases of Control requirements on active construction sites.
• Coordinate quality-related communication between field teams, subcontractors, project leadership, and government representatives.
• 4+ years of direct experience as a Construction Quality Control Manager.
• 10+ years of combined construction experience in roles such as Quality Control Manager, Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager.
• Current Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification required.
• Strong background in vertical construction, including commercial, institutional, federal, or military facilities.
• Working knowledge of USACE quality control procedures and federal construction requirements.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, contract documents, and approved submittals.
• Strong leadership, communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, or military base construction projects.
• Experience with aircraft hangars, barracks, military housing, command centers, or other large-scale vertical structures.
• Experience supporting multimillion-dollar federal construction projects.
• Proficiency with Procore or comparable construction management software.
