Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee QC programs on USACE, NAVFAC, or GSA federal projects.

The position will be based at MCAS Cherry Point, Havlock, NC, and will require implementing a three-phase QC plan and coordinating with superintendents and subcontractors. Candidates must have five years' construction experience, two years as QCM on federal projects, and a valid CQ/CM certificate; proficiency with USACE RMS, NAVFAC QCS, and BlueBeam Revu

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of professional commercial or industrial construction experience.
• At least two years must include serving as a QCM on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects.
• Valid USACE/NAVFAC CQ/CM certificate at time of hire is required.
• Strong knowledge of UFGS specifications and federal construction requirements.
• Proficiency with USACE RMS, NAVFAC QCS, or similar reporting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF/document handling with BlueBeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project Quality Control (QC) Plan per contract requirements.
• Execute the Three-Phases of Quality Control.
• Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate required testing.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, SSHOs, and subcontractors on new Definable Features of Work (DFOW).
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation.
• Track and resolve deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections.
• Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.
• Other duties as assigned.
