Job summary

JGM seeks a Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead QA/QC for airport baggage handling system installation projects. You will oversee all testing, commissioning, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and manufacturer standards.

You will coordinate with Vanderlande representatives and project teams to implement the QC plan, review reports, drive corrective actions, and maintain records through project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of quality control experience on industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with mechanical systems, conveyors, or baggage handling systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of inspection, testing and commissioning processes.

Quality Control (QC) Manager

Position Summary

The Quality Control Manager oversees all quality assurance and quality control activities for airport baggage handling system (BHS) installation projects. This position ensures installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet project specifications, manufacturer standards, and client expectations. The QC Manager will coordinate with equipment manufacturers and vendors during project startup to understand quality standards, inspection requirements, and testing procedures.

General Working Conditions

• Work is performed in active airport construction environments and operational facilities.

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around active construction operations.
• Travel within the project site is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk extensive construction sites daily.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated work areas.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in active construction environments for extended periods.
