Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services seeks an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee the contractor's quality control management program across contracts, ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy. Qualifications

  • Experience in preparing and enforcing quality management programs (QMS) on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • Experience on DHA or USACE projects in active military medical facilities.
  • OSHA 30 Certification and USACE CQMC Certification required; First Aid/CPR a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain RMS; familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer quality control management program.
  • Oversee overall quality assurance program.
  • Monitor and inspect all delivery orders for compliance.
  • Maintain records of inspections and certifications.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing inspection findings.
  • Periodically review the quality control program for compliance.
  • Examine processes for preventative and corrective maintenance; suggest improvements.
  • Perform inspections and re-inspections to verify issues are resolved.
  • Collect data for Government RMS entries.
  • Research safety and quality topics as needed.
  • Prepare incident and accident reports if required.
  • Train personnel on quality and safety topics as needed.
  • May manage disposal of hazardous waste.
  • May research and issue infection control or Life Safety permits.
  • Travel up to ~10%.

Job Summary

This position shall have overall responsibility for the contractor's quality control management program, including maintaining and overseeing the entire contract's quality control management program.

Primary Job Functions
  • Administer quality control management program.
  • Responsible for overall quality assurance program.
  • Monitor and inspect all delivery orders for compliance.
  • Maintain records of inspections and certifications.
  • Prepare monthly reports depicting findings of quality inspections.
  • Periodically review the quality control program to ensure compliance.
  • Examine processes for preventative and corrective maintenance; make suggestions based on findings.
  • Perform inspections and re‑inspections to ensure problems have been resolved.
  • Collect data for the DMLSS system entry by the Government.
  • Research safety and quality topics online.
  • May prepare incident and accident reports.
  • May be tasked with preparing training materials and conducting employee quality and/or safety meetings.
  • May manage the disposal of hazardous waste.
  • May research and issue infection control and interim Life Safety permits.
  • May train personnel on material control and equipment and tool management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Certification
Education Level

Required: Associate Degree (related degree).

Years of Experience

Required: 5 years. Preferred: 5 years.

Experience
  • Experience in preparing and enforcing quality management programs (QMS) on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • Experience working on DHA or USACE projects in active military medical facilities.
License/Certification

Required: OSHA 30 Certification, USACE CQMC Certification, First Aid/CPR, and general certification. Preferred: Additional certification.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and PPE procedures.
  • Ability to conduct accident investigations and safety inspections.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of 3‑Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow‑up).
  • Ability to maintain, update, and work in RMS is required.
  • Knowledge of Procore and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Knowledge of RFID control and planning on equipment for Government record keeping purposes.
Travel Requirements

Approximately 10 % of the role will require leaving the base location.

Minimum pay rate for this position is $110 000–$130 000. This position may also be eligible for a wide range of competitive benefits that can include, but are not limited to, medical, well‑being, financial planning, and short‑term incentive benefits.
