Job summary

Six Mile, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Manager for custodial services at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities to maintain high-quality service delivery in line with contract standards.

The position is full-time and exempt, reporting to the Project Manager. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred, and 5+ years in custodial management is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years in custodial services and managed up to 1 million sq ft of admin space in the past 3 years.
• Experience writing custodial procedures and planning work schedules.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history; motor vehicle record check will be conducted.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Skype for Business, and Google Docs.
• Clear, concise communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create monitoring processes to ensure service quality adheres to contract standards.
• Prepare and maintain service quality reports and communicate outcomes.
• Active management of spreadsheets for inventory tracking, service calls, and quality issues.
• Provide service analysis and propose alternative solutions when issues arise.
• Utilize quality ratings in regular assessments and report changes to PM.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to arrange service requirements, staffing, and duties within budget and time constraints.
• Maintain service quality documents.
• Perform incidental tasks to support team goals with a positive attitude.

• Furnish PM with service analysis and propose alternative solutions once a service issue has been identified
• Utilize quality rating results in regular assessments and report any changes in rating to PM
• Confer with Project Manager to arrange service requirements, staffing needs, and duty assignments within budgetary limitations and time constraints
• Responsible for service quality document management
• Performs incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Preferred minimum of 5 years in custodial services and managed up to 1 million square feet of administrative space a year within the past 3 years
• Experience in writing custodial procedures and the ability to plan and organize work schedules
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and demonstrate a safe, responsible driving history. A motor vehicle record check will be conducted
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Skype for Business, and a web collaboration tool such as Google Docs
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and meet deadlines as assigned
