Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction experience.
• 7+ years in construction with QC/field leadership.

• Experience on mission-critical, healthcare, or large commercial projects preferred.
• USACE Construction Quality Control Certification preferred.

Job description

The Quality Control Manager leads all QC/QA efforts on complex, mission‑critical projects—including Tier‑level data centers, advanced MEP systems, and high‑performance building envelopes. You’ll ensure construction quality from pre‑construction through commissioning, directly influencing the reliability and performance of some of Texas’ most essential infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Project Quality Plan — Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, including inspection procedures, testing requirements, and documentation standards.
• Field Inspections — Conduct daily inspections across all scopes; verify material storage, installation methods, and compliance with project specifications.
• Mission‑Critical Expertise — Apply technical knowledge of Tier‑level data center requirements, redundancy systems, commissioning pathways, and envelope performance/tightness.
• Quality Meetings — Facilitate QC/QA meetings, coordinate with trade partners, and support teams in resolving field conflicts and non‑conformance issues.
• Documentation Management — Maintain QC logs, inspection reports, and testing records in Procore and other project systems.

What You Need

• 7+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in QC or field leadership roles (QC Manager, Superintendent, Field Engineer)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field—or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite
• Experience with mission‑critical, healthcare, or large commercial projects preferred
• USACE Construction Quality Control Certification preferred
