Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. in Colonial Heights, Virginia, seeks a Quality Control Manager to direct site quality control activities and manage the inspection staff. Typically certified as Inspector Level II or III in various disciplines.

You will collaborate across teams on complex projects, ensure a safe work environment, participate in trainings and certifications, and contribute to a strong quality program. Travel up to 25% and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 8 years related experience and/or training; or 10 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.).
• Quality assurance-related experience preferably in the nuclear power industry (DOE/DOD facilities).
• Quality inspector experience.
• Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards preferably NRC regulations.

The Quality Control Manager directs all site quality control activities and manages the inspection staff. Typically certified as Inspector Level II or III in various disciplines.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is expected to range from $132,308 to $172,000 annually. Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, skills, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.
