Job summary

Kleen Test Products Corporation in Strasburg, OH is hiring a Quality Control Line Technician to help ensure our products meet the highest standards daily. You will perform inspections, document results, and communicate issues to the production team on a fast-paced line.

This role offers 2nd or 3rd shift options (2nd: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; 3rd: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) and the chance to move between departments to support production, with opportunities for growth, training, and benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math with metric units.
  • Basic computer skills and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and defect identification.
  • Good communication for reporting issues.
  • Ability to work fast-paced and multi-task.
  • Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections using weights, measurements, and visual checks.
  • Document inspection results and quality records accurately.
  • Communicate issues to supervisors and production team.
  • Ensure production processes meet quality system requirements.
  • Operate lab equipment like pH meters, balances, vacuum testers.
  • Maintain traceability and correct labeling on production line.

What You'll Do
  • Perform quality inspections using weight checks, measurements, and visual assessments
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
  • Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production team members
  • Ensure production processes meet all quality system requirements
  • Operate lab and testing equipment such as pH meters, balances, and vacuum testers
  • Maintain traceability and ensure proper labeling of materials on the production line

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations using the metric system
  • Basic computer skills, including ability to learn spreadsheets and documentation systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies

  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Preferred Experience
  • 3-6 months of quality control or manufacturing experience in a similar role
