Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma and 3–5 years of quality control experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in optimization technology and scanner calibration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site-wide quality control program across sawmill and planer operations.
• Manage optimization systems, scanner calibrations, changeovers, and equipment parameters.
• Conduct audits, monitor kiln performance, and address out-of-spec issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve lumber recovery and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, sales, and grading agencies.
• Maintain QC documentation and provide operational leadership as needed.
