Quality Control Lead – Education


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Control Lead to support our education technology projects. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and compliance of IT systems used for instructional content, reporting, and workflow management. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and system validation, particularly within education-related platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of IT systems, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with established quality control and compliance standards.
  • Execute test plans, cases, and scripts to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to refine system performance and ensure seamless integration within educational environments.
  • Monitor and maintain tracking systems to oversee test results, workflow efficiencies, and quality benchmarks.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to project teams, offering insights for system optimization and process improvements.
  • Oversee compliance with accessibility standards, including 508 compliance for web-based applications and document accessibility (Word, PDF).
  • Validate data integrity, security protocols, and system functionality across education-focused IT platforms.
  • Support the preparation of correlation documents, compliance checks, and dashboard enhancements to ensure alignment with educational standards.
  • Perform additional QC testing and validation tasks as required to enhance system reliability and user experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Education Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, IT quality control, or system validation, preferably in education technology or workforce development platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, automated testing tools, and system audits.
  • Familiarity with education-focused IT systems, curriculum platforms, or assessment technology (preferred).
  • Expertise in compliance reviews, accessibility standards (508 compliance), and workflow testing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a keen ability to identify system inconsistencies and potential risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide insightful testing reports.
